Queensland’s People Partner (Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast, Northern NSW)

The People Partner is a critical function that adds value by collaborating to shape business and team needs and providing strategically targeted work within Tribe value missions, with a focus on both team experience and deployment and activation plans for our business teams.

The People Partner, who reports to the People Lead, has a unique opportunity to get involved and provide key insights into how we design and deliver people solutions, collaborating with colleagues across our partnering model, tribes, and practice areas to ensure that the work we do has the desired impact and improves the team experience. This position also collaborates with and coaches corporate executives, giving professional guidance as they manage people and leadership issues while increasing team effectiveness and cultivating a diverse culture.

The People Partner will do the following:

  • Engage with business teams to determine priorities that are aligned with People Plans and include this information into the quarterly business review cycle;
  • Contribute to the prioritization of tasks within the relevant tribe/squad and provide feedback on solution design, including testing and learning solutions with team and business stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of an activation plan to introduce the solution to our business teams.
  • With leaders and teams, lead the implementation of fundamental people processes.
  • Coach and develop senior leaders by forming a solid, mutually beneficial collaboration, and expand leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop human insights that aid data-driven decision-making and action.

You are naturally collaborative and energized by solving complicated challenges from beginning to end. You use a data-driven approach and are eager to test, learn, and iterate new ideas and methods. You have a strong grasp of key people processes and the ability to influence sound decision-making and judgments.

  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities
  • To provide the best results, you must be able to collaborate and work across numerous teams and roles, from in-store staff to senior management.
  • Proven talent developer who understands how to build and maintain a talent pipeline
  • Ability to build and lead a customer-focused team Ability to engage and motivate people at all levels
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail
  • Travel to supermarkets in Greater Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Northern NSW is possible.
