ALDI provides an Australian supermarket experience unlike any other. Where else can you stroll into a store and walk out with a trombone instead of bread and milk?

Fortunately, you don’t need to be an exceptional trombone player to work as a Retail Assistant at ALDI. Because our Retail Assistant work entails so much more than just sitting at a cash register, you must enjoy staying active and busy. You’ll be operating machines, filling shelves, cleaning, inspecting product quality, and tidying special buys as an ALDI Retail Assistant. You don’t have to be the Hulk to play this part, but it is physically demanding, so you’ll need to enjoy working with your hands!

Because our hours might start as early as 6 a.m. and end as late as 10 p.m., it’s critical that you have reliable transportation to and from work. We’re also searching for someone who can work any five out of seven days. It’s ideal if you’ve worked in retail before, but we’re also interested in hearing from those who have worked in healthcare, administration, fast food, manufacturing, logistics, or even child care. We are searching for people with a positive attitude, a hardworking mentality, and a willingness to learn, regardless of their field.

You will be in charge of:

  • Assuring that product shelves are fully stocked
  • Cleaning and upholding store standards are essential.
  • Pallet moving equipment that is operated by hand
  • Merchandising stock throughout the store
  • Customers are served and assisted in a professional and timely manner.

At ALDI, we believe that our staff should be able to come to work every day knowing that they are working in the safest possible workplace. You must follow all ALDI COVID-safe procedures and regulations, as well as those of the state and federal governments.

Unless they have a legal exemption, employees will be required to be completely vaccinated against COVID-19 beginning March 1, 2022 as a condition of continued employment with ALDI. All personnel in stores, warehouses, transportation, and offices will be subject to this obligation.

Retail Assistants above the age of 18 are paid an hourly rate.
